Our People

Annamarie, the managing director, has been a corporate lawyer and company secretary for more than 20 years. She is a member of the King Committee on Corporate Governance for South Africa and was actively involved in the writing of King III, focusing on the chapter dealing with boards and directors. Annamarie is a facilitator for the Institute of Directors and regularly presents workshops on topics such as board effectiveness, corporate governance and statutory duties of directors and officers to directors, company secretaries and others.

Annette, Director and CEO , is an experienced professional manager. She has a wealth of experience in teaching, research and training at a tertiary level, as well as developmental training in the fields of finance, strategy, management, small business management and entrepreneurship. She specialises in Board Evaluations.

Elise is a Consultant at iThemba. She has broad experience in all aspects of commercial law, having spent three years in both litigation and commercial practice as an admitted attorney and four years as corporate legal counsel. Elise has dealt extensively with broad-based black economic empowerment structures, employee ownership schemes, enterprise development and share incentive schemes involving complex company restructuring for both multi-nationals and large local entities. She has extensive knowledge on the new Companies Act, and has particular interests in company secretarial and corporate governance matters. Elise is a graduate of the University of the Free State.
